Concie is built on the principle that AI should be helpful, honest, and safe. We are committed to developing and operating our AI shopping and site assistants in a way that respects users, merchants, and society. This page outlines how we work toward that goal.

2. Safety by Design

We integrate safety considerations into how we design, train, and deploy our AI. This includes limiting use cases to shopping and site assistance, avoiding harmful or misleading outputs, and monitoring for misuse. We do not use our assistant to generate illegal, abusive, or deceptive content.

3. Transparency

We aim to be clear about what Concie is and what it can and cannot do. Our assistant identifies itself as an AI. Where we surface product or site information, we strive to attribute sources so users can verify. We do not present AI-generated content as if it were human-written without appropriate context.

4. Human Oversight

Human judgment remains central. We use human review and feedback to improve models and policies. We provide ways for users and merchants to report issues or concerns, and we act on them to improve safety and quality.

5. Fairness and Inclusivity

We work to reduce bias in our systems so that recommendations and answers are fair and useful for diverse users. We do not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics and we continuously evaluate and improve our systems with fairness in mind.

6. Privacy and Data Use

We use data in line with our Privacy Policy. We do not use your conversations to train models in ways that identify you personally without appropriate consent and safeguards. We are committed to minimizing data collection and retaining it only as long as necessary.

7. Evolving Standards

AI safety and governance are evolving. We follow emerging best practices and regulatory guidance and will update our practices and this page as standards develop.
